Construction Week

This week was all about more construction!

Monday the platypi started the week with reading construction books, a construction sensory bin, and construction themed worksheets including a shadow matching activity.

Tuesday began with more construction themed books and another sensory bin with construction trucks.

Wednesday the kiddos enjoyed a construction truck footprint painting craft, more construction sensory bin play, and construction themed watercolor paintings.

Thursday was full of fun construction themed worksheets and construction truck letter tracing using construction vehicles as a tracing aid.

Friday the platypi read several construction themed books, built a castle out of blocks, and then pretended to be construction workers with their own tools. They also finished the week with a fun painting activity in which they drove construction trucks through brown paint to leave “mud” tracks.
